Hi! I am 18, 5'5 and about 135 pounds. I have always been extremely active in sports, and workout at least 4 times a week. I love exercising, but I also love good food. It never used to be a problem because I had a fast metabolism and was constantly active. Now I am still active, I almost always get at least an hour of exercise a day, but I am not happy with my weight or even what my body looks like. I have a very muscular physique, I play many sports as well as enjoy doing weights at the gym. Also I have larger breasts (32 D), which constantly get in the way in my sporting events, as well make me feel fatter then I am. This body is not what I wished or thought Id achieve with my healthy lifestyle and workouts. I want to be slim and lean, and I'm tired of being disappointed with my large muscular thighs. I'm toned all over, just do not have the body type that I long for. I've recently upped my cardio in my workouts hoping this would help to lean out the muscle and cut some extra fat, but so far it hasn't really helped.
Does anyone have any tips for how to keep my active lifestyle, but lose 5-10 pounds and achieve a slimmer more graceful body?

Graceful, as in ballerina? That's just not in the cards, as many a young teen finds out as their bodies show in what ways they are defined by genetics. Look around you, probably half the women in the gym are envious of your muscle tone (and your breast size). Work with what you were given. As for losing 5 - 10 lbs, just plan on cutting out any wasted nutrition, whether a cheap hamburger bun or fried foods or sweets, and maybe a teeny bit smaller portions, for 2 years. Brown rice is a better starch than potatoes and pasta, and you can combine it with steamed chicken or fish, fresh broccoli, and something like sesame seeds. It doesn't sound like your body can afford a stricter diet to lose that in 3 months.

Depends on what you want your body to look like. Genetics plays a big part in that.
I am also large busted but very slim. I cannot "will" myself to be smaller busted... or, for that matter, taller.
You lose weight by eating more veggies and fruit and less starch, fewer colas, drinking more water. I'm sure you know how that works.
Consult with a trainer. Explain what you hope to achieve. Pilates will give a leaner line - but genetics will still rule.
On another note, please check the dates when you answer. You recently answered a thread from 2008, long dead.

You will never be happy if you were 95 lbs and being ready to be sent to the hospital for under weight. Your problem is body image. You are not seeing you the way you really are.
You are at a perfect weight for someone your height with a average build.
Plus if a person has a lot of muscle that muscle has weight.
As for the breasts, they are what they are, nothing you can do about the, so perhaps working on feelling good about yourself.
