I'm about to build a network of nearly 15 computers and a server for the company I work for. Because of the locations of these computers in the building, I'll need to use 4 switches to get them all hooked up.

I was wondering if it is possible to use routers instead of switches and if there would be any advantages (like faster connection, better stability, more management options, etc.) in doing this.

For 15 computers I would definitely use a switch instead of a router. Even if the price is the same I would still connect them at Layer2. The added complexity of routers (i.e. subnets per location, etc) doesn't really buy you much.

I think the same way, but since my boss was obssesed with this idea I just wanted to show him the facts and convince him. Thank you.
