I have a goodman 125-4 that I just replaced circuit board in and I have no voltage to the pressure switch from the circuit board.

Take the cover off the burner compartment of the furnace. Obtain the make and model of the furnace off the rating plate in the burner compartment and post it here.

Observe the sequence of events that occurs at the furnace when you turn up the thermostat and post that sequence of events in order and in detail.

Model goodman GMP 125-4 inducer motor comes on code 3 flases, I checked for voltage at the pressure switch but there is no voltage prsent, then I checked voltage at the circuit board there is no voltage coming out PSO point on board

I presume that the inducer motor switches on when you turn up the thermostat and shuts off when you turn the themostat down?


When the thermostat closes, the inducer motor should switch on and 24 VAC voltage should go to the pressure switch.


Since that's not happening, your new circuit board is no good and should be replaced under whatever guarantee you bought it.

Where are you putting the leads of your voltmeter when testing for power to the switch? One lead to one side of the switch and the other to ground? Or are you testing across the switch? Why was the board replaced, same issue with the old one? Let us know the whole scoop and we will see what we can come up with.

Make sure you don't have a roll out limit tripped. It sets on top of the burners and will have a red reset button in the center.

Old board had code 5 false flame but every thing checked out OK roll out,flame sensor, limit switch aux limit switch ignitor, inducer motor comes on but that's it. The code 3 that I'm getting should not be there.

All roll outs check good, pressure switch checks good, inducer comes on when calling for heat but there is no voltage at pso wire (pressure switch out)from board to pressure switch. Shouldn't I have voltage at the pressure swich when the inducer comes on and the T-stat calls for heat. Heat and AC worked before I changed the board, the reason for changing the board in the first place is because of a code 5 false flame. The board that is on there now is the second new board from sears. The false flame code is gone but the code 3 is driving me crazy because every thing checks out Ok.

Well, with what you've told us, it sure does sound like you got another bad board. This type of deal can be a real pain for sure, but it does happen from time to time. Get that new board warrantied and let us know how things work out.

The time when pretty much ANY PART has the highest probability of failing is when it's new--- right out of the box!

Second new board same problem, is it possible the new white 9 pin connector will have to be used because on some of the later models the white connector has the wiring for pso (wire delivering power to pressure switch) psi ( wire returning power to board)connected to it as well as roll out switch out and return.The wire schematic that came with the board says to just cut the white wire.
