I need you help with my situation. I was in the middle lane where can wait to make a left turn or right turn. I pause there a second to let the white van pass by. When I ready to move, I saw a blue car on the right side of lane driven by.(it was in my blind spot, didn't see him with the white vehicle) I pause for seconds let the blue car pass by. When I ready to take off, the car hit me in the back. I got a ticket because I failure to yield. The guy who ran into me got a ticket for ran into my vehicle. The cop said I shouldn't stop in the middle lane, I should make sure FOUR lanes has no traffic in order to move. In that case, this guy clearing failure the same thing like I did. He didn't wait for FOUR lanes clear in order to move his vehicle. He additional ran into me to damage my vehicle. He only got one ticket. Should he get two tickets which is failure to yield and ran into my vehicle. Also, he is responsible to fix my vehicle?

If you were sitting there, not moving, I would fight the ticket. At least in GA, from how you described it, I would say you are not guility, But you need to read the terms of the actual law you were ticketed under.

Not sure what he was given a ticket for, "runing into a vehicle" is not a ticket where I am at.

But at this point, it will be up to the insurance company to decide who pays for what, you need to discuss this with them. But it may be you pay for yours, he pays for his.
