So I've been having a thing with this guy for a couple of weeks now. He told me he has feelings for me and we spent everyday together. But just yesterday he told me him and his ex are still talking and he wants to get back with her. He said him and I can be friends. Now I'm immensely hurt and I don't know what to do.

Accept it and move on. The we can be friends is either a way of trying to be nice in a break up. Or he hopes you will be a back up if things don't work out again with ex.

This type of thing is very very common, if he was not broke up from his ex for a month or so before you started dating.

You let him go back to his ex, and go back to what you were doing before he came along. The thing didn't work out. It happens but it still hurts. Just don't try to be friends just yet, then it will hurt even more.

Honestly, a couple of weeks is pretty early to start having feelings for somebody. Obviously the feelings he had for you were pretty superficial otherwise he wouldn't be going back to his ex. Just move on. If he wants to go back to his ex than let him go.

I've just reacently had a similar situation with an ex-boyfriend who I came to find out has been back and forth with the same ex-girlfriend for quite some time even before we met. Also, another guy I was dating awhile back said he wanted us to be together, then he just disappeared off the face of the earth until a year later... but its not worth it. Your feelings are involved and he has no regard for them, because he may be just fine going between the two of you and he'll keep doing it as long as you allow it. You will be the only one hurt from this.

Its not worth it, find someone that is worth your time and who won't play games and already knows what they want and that'll be you! Good luck : )
