I've been hanging out with this guy. We're both in the military and in the same unit. Everyone knew that we like each other but one night we talked about our mindset about who tells, "who likes you first" whether a female should tell a guy she likes him or a male telling a guy he likes her. We both had opposite opinion about that and that his mindset was a girl should tell how she felt first before a guy would say it. Anyway after two days, I asked him out to watch a movie. That night before I'm about to leave I told him, I like him then asked if he like me back he answered, I like you but there's manythings right now. I asked him, what things? He answered, "I'm still caught up with my ex...you know how it feels, I'm still on a healing process." THen afterwards he hug me twice and tells me to text him when I get home and ask what time I'm going to bed. I texted him after I came back... He texted me back but after that night he never texted me again. I don't know if he was trying to wait for me to text him first or what? I miss him but I don't know if he's actually interested. I mean if he really is why would he text me first I mean he does has this thing about not bothering people unless he was texted first.

He told you he is still hung up on his ex, he's healing. He may like you but is not ready for a relationship. That sounds pretty clear to me. He text you because you text him. The fact that he has not text you since should tell you something. You two are not on the same page.

I think that you should text him one more time and say hey is this _____ (what ever his name is ) and then he will text back then be like o I got a new phone or o was going threw my phone and I couldn't put the name to the face. Hope this helps
