In the field, or in the lab ?

The only important tool is the mind.yes, that is a start but someone's wonderful mind, put all those high tech tools in motion. We all can't be Sherlock Holmes and solve cases without them.

The question to me seems like homework. And to be honest even watching CSI on TV can give many tools used.

Insects.

Yes, of course. The University of Toronto has a forensic course and a teaching facility at an undisclosed site where pig body parts are buried and studied during different seasons to explain how insects can determine time of death, and play a very important part in forensic science.

If only I were 25 again, I'd go to college in Toronto and sign up for that course. ISneezeFunny (remember him?) and I both read and loved --

I'm guessing it requires a strong stomach.

IRL, dead bodies smell.

I was a hospital aide for two years and a mom since I was 25. I can deal with smells.
