If your heart has shut out love and now you think you're ready to feel love again. When does it come back?

It comes back when you allow it to and are ready to give instead of get and take.

I know this person feels about me and won't hurt me. I just can't give any emotion back. Do I talk about it to them or just wait it out. Its like I put all my feeling in a box and scared to open it because of what going to come out. All this person want's is friendship and scared I want more and ruin what I got.
