My kitten has green goo coming from his eyes its sneezing and won't eat I can't take him to the vet at the moment is there anything we can do at home for now?

Your kitten probably has an upper respiratory infection which is not a good sign. There is nothing you can do but keep him warm and get him to the vet immediately. Encourage water even if you have to do with an eyedropper. The signs you mention are symptoms of distemper.

Cats with respiratory problems usually have "stuffy" noses and as such can't smell too well. A cat that can't smell its food also has a poor appetite, so clean off/up its nose as best you can, and maybe that'll help it eat.

Wipe its eyes with a moist tissue to keep the gloop to a minimum. May not help much, but can't hurt.

How do you know it's distemper? A Vet told you that? You are a Vet? Something else?

THere is no such thing as waisting money when it comes to your pets health. Take him to the vet or surrender him to a shelter.

Even if the kitten does not has distemper and it is only an upper respiratory infection, it could still be dangerous and may develop into pneumonia. It could likely take antibiotics to help clear it up. Even with antibiotics it took several weeks for a kitten we adopted to fully recover from a URI. I will not lie, it did take well over a hundred dollars to get her better, but it is more important to take the kittens life into account. If you cannot afford this then please contact a local rescue or humane society.
