One year ago I had a colesterol blood test result of 6.4. Since then I walk for an hour daily and I have been on a Fat free diet. I weighed 81 kg and have lost 8 kilos since so now I weigh 73 kg. I am 159 cm tall and have 46 years. This month I tried the blood test again and to my surprise the colesterol is 7.7. I don't know what to do more I went to a cardiologist and he told me to take a bottle of Danacol or Benacol daily AND DO THE TEST AGAIN IN 3 MONTHS TIME. IF THE RESULT STAYS THE SAME I HAVE TO BEGIN MEDICINE, SOMETHING I WOULD LIKE VERY MUCH TO AVOID. WHAT CAN I DO MORE? Did anyone have my problem and solved it in some way without taking medicne?

A high fibre diet is good for lowering cholesterol but the best way to go in my opinion is the medication, PLUS a high fibre diet. Why do you hesitate to take it?

I hesitate to take it because my doctor told me that the tablets have a lot of side effects like muscle pain and fatty liver and I already had these side effects with other long term medication, and when I stopped the tablets the side effects stopped , in fact after 6 months I stopped medication the liver cleared . Thanks for your help,

Yes if you look up Sherry Breschias site - Great Taste No pain she outlines how if you alkaline yourself and remove acid from your system you can lower your cholesterol. I had the same problem as you but following the food combining I have substantially reduced my cholesterol and do not now have to go on medication. This has also removed my diabetes and high blood pressure. Doctor is speechless! This has also worked for my cousin, my husband and my Father. IT Works, It has changed my life and that of anyone I know who has gone on it. I'm glad to be able to pass it on to anyone who wants this incredible gift.

If you go and look into medication you will discover how dangerous it is. Yes it will lower cholesterol by inhibiting absorption but it also raises your risk of heart attach. Go to Google and read some of the testiments of people on it Eg Ezetrol - staggering how many people have written of their experience with this cholesterol lowering drug - incredible muscle pain, foot pain, nausea, myalgia, muscle breakdown. Try other options first. Like food combining which alkalines your system and allows cholesterol levels to return to acceptable. Go to Sherry Breschias site - Great Taste No Pain It outlines how you can do this and it's so easy.
