I have a 99 dodge ram 2500 my tranny will not go in gear.. the shifter moves as it is going in to gear but will not.. clutch seems to be tight as normal... anyone know what would make it do this ?even when I shut it off it still in neutral.. thanks

. Clutch slave cylinder failure?

. Clutch master cylinder failure?

To prevent problems in the future, change the fluid every two years. Do not overfill the master cylinder, which often leads to failure.

Good morning... I do not know if that is the case for.. the clutch seems tight and the pedel is tight
Would it still be this way if the sleeve or master went out??
Even when I shut truck off it will not go into gear.. the shifter moves as if it is going in to gear but it does not just stays in neautal...
Is there a pin or anything in shifter that could break or>>>>
I took shifter out but seems its all together
Thanks chuck
