How does a man feel about having sex with a virgin? Is it something they do not want to deal with?

Most men at least in their mind believe they want a virgin.
In many cultures men expect their bride to be one.

What makes having sex with a virgin such an ego thing?
It really depends on a few factors. Some men feel that they are "conquering" something, while in other cultures it means that they are marrying someone who is pure.

They can't in most cases, they have the girls word for it.

As Fr_CHuck stated... there is always the Hymen... but even that's not proof positive... because there are surgeries tio restore it... and many get broken just through he course of normal childhood play.
I've been with both... but speaking as a Western guy... what matters most is she was being honest about it.
I'd have a bigger issue with the fact she lied about being a virgin when she's been with several guys... than if she had just been honest with me that she wasn't one.
But again... I'm not from a culture that puts irrational extreme importance on something that can't be proven definatively.
Because how I view it... if she was honest with me... I'm happy either way... but if she lied about it, eventually I'd find out then I would always wonder about what else she was dishonest about as well.
Also as Fr_CHuck states too... he will think he was the one and only... and a guy with insecurities would have issues if he wasn't for a number of aspects. Was they bigger, was they better, did she do something with him she won't do with me... etc. etc. Similar thoughts an insecure woman might have about a man that's been around.
