Divorce in islam is not so easy.that was your anger speaking that is why it is haraam.if you really wanted a divorce you would say to your wife the 1st week i divorce and then you would go back the 2nd week and say i divorce and then the 3rd week and say i divorce that is when your divorce in islam is accepted. It takes a long time because obviously you can not divorce in anger. Go back and apologise and bring her back. I will pray for you inshallah

Hello john firstly I was not shouting my caps lock stayed on by mistake. Secondly if you are not muslim Islam is common sense that's why I said to the brother anger is not good especially when you are going to break a relationship forever. Once person man called Rukanah pronounced three divorces against his wife but later he was very sorry for it. When the Prophet asked him, How did you divorce your wife? Rukanah replied that he had pronounced three divorces. The Prophet asked, Did you pronounce it in one sitting? When he said, Yes, the Noble Prophet said, Treat it as one divorce only and if you want you can take your wife back. And Rukanah took his wife back. Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal. In the Muslim world, legislation concerning divorce varies from country to country. Different Muslim scholars can have slightly have differing interpretations of divorce in Islam, (e.g. concerning triple talaq). Thank you
