Hi All,

I am new member and this is my first posting. I came to us on July 8th 2006 , so I fall in non-resident category. My company is charging state, federal , ssn and medicare tax.
I am married and want to fill jointly and can we opt for any standard dedecution or not .Can some one help me which form I have to filled for filling tax return.

you need first thing is W7 form for your dependent.
Second is 1040A form, which you need to fill manually
Third is will definetely get rebate like on 1040A there is 3300 *2 = 6600 +
standard deduction you get. Try IRS.gov they have very good tax form with all details.
To my knowledge there is no tax software that will work you or myself which is of same case.
FYI:Iam not a income tax person.
