Years ago I used to help the elderly fill out their paper work for their
Medical co-pays, (including prescriptions) refunds. I am not finding the forms
Out there anymore. This might just be because I am looking in the wrong
Area. I was told by H & are Block that I would use a 1040-A to do this with.
I would love to see a booklet with this information in it, but so far I
Have not been able to see anything. The post office used to carry all the
Forms, but will not be doing that anymore. The library does not have the
Forms in yet. Any clues as to where I could go in order to visually see
These forms on line to know if they are what I am looking for? Thank you...

Do you mean as a deduction on their taxes?

Or as a payment by medicare for money they paid out and to be reimbursed?

Hi Chuck,
I hope this gets to you...
I guess it would be as a refund for money
Out as co-pays for prescriptions/medical bills.
I do not file taxes anymore now, but wondered if I would
Still be able to get back what I paid out for my prescriptions.
After going 2 years with treatment for cancer, the scripts
Were many & any help back would be welcome. I just wish I
Could find the correct form to fill out for it.
They used to have them at the post office, but the post office is
Not going to do it anymore. Trying to find the correct form
On line is like trying to pull your own tooth. LOL
Thank you for any help you can give me.

You can download the tax forms and their instructions from www.irs.gov.

Thank you for the correct IRS address, (www.irs.gov.).
I had looked under (irs.com). I am sure that is why I did
Not get to the area I needed. Now a further question, just
What form exactly will I be looking for in this section?
I do not wish to appear a dummy, but I am unsure of just
Exactly which form will have what I need on it.
Thank you,
Patti
