Hi Franko

There is air stuck in the line right now. To light the pilot you can keep pushing on the pilot button and simply keep trying to light the pilot every 30 seconds or so, OR, if you are super handy you could "break" (loosen) the connection at the flexible gas connector and allow the air to escape... only do this until you smell gas and then retighten the connection using two wrenches or pairs of pliers, OK?

Wait 5 minutes for the air to clear of any released gas and then proceed to light the pilot... should light quickly now.

Finally, if you are not super handy, DO NOT touch the gas connector(s) and simply continue trying to light the pilot... will eventually light with enough time.

Back to you...

You May have to hold your pilot light button down for a min. or two until you smell the gas, and then release it for a min. or two and wait for the air to clear. Then follow your lighting steps for lighting the pilot light. If you ran out of gas you probably have air in the lines and need to bleed it out
