My girlfriend was diagnosed 4 months ago with BV. She resulted positive for Ureaplasma, Gardnerella and Streptococci beta haemoliticus. She was treated with Metronidazole for a week, than Doxycyline for another week. After the treatment she had symptoms again, a fishy odor. This time she took Macmiror for 12 days ovule and oral tablets. After that she complained burning during intercourse, itching and burning. She did a bacterial culture, which resulted gram negative bacteria. She was treated with Augmentin orally and Polygynax. The last week she said she had strange discharge and burning. This time the culture showed S.Aureus. Please tell me what to do. I don't trust this doctors anymore. Should she be treated again with antibiotics? Should she do further tests? Thanks in advance
