Vasant,

Please clarify, what does y=(x 5)(X2 3)
mean?

Is it x power 5 which is here written as (X~5) and (X~2 +3) or what?

If it is y=(x+5)(x^2+3) then use the chain rule and
\frac{dy}{dx}=(x^2+3)+2x(x+5)
