Hi Nazaila_Romero,

You won't get pregnant if you don't have sex. Your periods being off may be due in part to your age, it is more common for teens to experience irregular cycles, but it is likely due to the depo. This can often cause periods to be irregular. Some people will experience lighter bleeding, some heavier, some will stop having periods.

Once you stop the injections, it can still take quite a bit of time for your periods to get back to normal. For some, it happens within the first few months, for others not for many months.

Do be sure, if you decide to have sex again, to use two forms of birth control to lessen the chances of an unplanned pregnancy.
