My question is simple. I know these are questions I should be asking a doctor or surgeon but I thought I would get information from people who have done it. Basically, I am an 18 year old male considering getting a sex change. I know after the surgery, it's swollen. So my question is: How long does it remain swollen? How long after surgery can I start having sex? And how deep do they make the hole? I've always thought they made it from the skin of your penis so your hole would depend on the length of your penis. But isn't there a way to not have it like that? Also, when having sex, is there any pleasure at all? The reason why I've come to this decision is because I feel it would make my life so much easier in many different aspects. Those, I won't discuss because there's too many, but if anyone could answer me I would be so happy. I've been looking for this type of information for a while now. A huge thanks in advance. :)

You are far better off doing a Google search for this info... or finding a doctor does this and speaking to them... its NOT something you want to take lightly... because its not reversible.

And based on the photos I've seen, and I've seen more than a couple... nobody that sees you afterwards will ever think you were born a woman... that is if they ever saw a real woman, except maybe in a real dark room.

I know a female who is considering becoming a male... yea, I know it's not the same operation but it's the same process to get to the operation.

She has to undergo months of counseling before anyone can legally do an operation. Also, such an operation is extremely costly. Anyway, with this counseling, there are also answers... so you may want to investigate this a little more and perhaps do the counseling part and then you will have all the answers you want.

And I have to agree with Smoothy... yeah, they don't look good at all... pretty scary looking actually.

Thanks guys. I was in a rush, kind of, when I asked this so I forgot to specify: that I don't want the full sex change. Just the penis-to-vagina part. I want to have my regular, male body. With only that small difference. But thanks for your answers anyway. They were somewhat helpful. ;) lol

My answer still remains the same. In the states, you can't get this operation legally done without intense counseling first.
