I have a two small dogs & my beautiful Husky just recently passed away from a sudden battle with bone cancer. I had just bought her a 6 pack of advantage (medium size) last month & I am wondering if I can SPLIT one tube on my two little guys so it doesn't go to waste? Worst comes to worst we toss the stuff & can't use it... I am just wondering if it really makes much of a difference? The ingredients are no different, right? Feedback would be much appreciated!

I spoke with a pharmacist about this very subject when we got a pug. He said he bought a pack for his smaller dogs and one tube lasted 3 months. He saved money & suggested we do the same. We've started that with our pug and have no problems plus saved money!

Certainly, I use advantage and buy the 20kg tubes and split it over my two 10kg dogs. Saves money in the long run.

I have split before, it does save money. I just wanted to add, when ever you have old/leftover dog food, or dog products, even old blankets or coats, bones medications, formula etc... the animal shelters/SPCA/ASPCA will gladly take them off your hands!
