Ok, I told the bio. Father I was pregnant so he left me and had nothing to do with me the whole time I was pregnant he was there the day she was born then after that he probably seen her about once every month then stopped seeing her unless it was a holiday. Then I ended up with a wonderful man who treats me and my daughter like gold. Since her bio. Father doesn't support her nor will he sign the birth certificate, I was wondering if my boyfriend can legally sign it!

No, your boyfriend cannot legally sign this document. The birth certificate is for biological or adoptive parents only.

The bio father doesn't have to sign the birth certificate. Nor does he have to pay support unless you go to court. Why haven't you filed for support from him.

As for your boyfriend, get married then have hum adopt.

Agree, if you get married, boyfriend can adopt. But it is fraud for him to sign as the father if he is not.

I am glad you have someone who wants to be there for the child. Bio father really does not owe money till you take him to court and get a order for child support.

Ok I understand. But the bio. Father did do a " putative father registry" form on the social services website. And now I filed for child support over a year ago through DCSE and he just keeps dodging them! But if I were to get married would her bio. Father be able to fight the adoption!

Yes he can. But he's going to have to show up in court.
