I had a D&C done on the 29th of October, 2011 and till date (19th Dec) I haven't had my menstrual period. I bled for about ten days after the D&C and everything else seemed normal. I however resumed my sexual life but realized I had a smelly foul smell when I had an intercourse and I inserted ovular tablets and it stopped. I also noticed brown discharge late in November and I felt like it was a period as I had normal period cramps though the discharge only lasted for a few days but very little. I also took oral contraceptives (Postionor 2)once don't know if I could establish a relationship with that.
Its December now and I have been having all period symptoms(started 14/12/2011) plus menstrual cramps yet no blood is coming out.
I am really worried and scared. I hope these are not symptoms of Asherman's syndrome. Ot too sure if we have those kind of laboratories or trained doctors to handle these kind of treatment in my country(Nigeria).
I have read that it could take between 4-8weeks to have a normal period so I am hoping it comes out before the 29th otherwise I would have to see a doctor.
I am really worried. Please advise.
