So I am in the because pills and I missed my white pills this month (pills that make you get your period) but I still bleed, what could this mean? Could I be pregnant?

In your other post you "knew" you were pregnant and was looking into an abortion. So what is it,

If you don't even know if you are pregnant, you were asking the wrong question and sorry wasted a lot of peoples time looking up laws and research for you.

But if you are having your period, no you are not pregnant.

I don't think she wasted the research. Whether she is pregnant or not, her 19 yr old boyfriend may be guilty of statutory rape. And that is important for her to know. Hopefully she will use this scare (if scare it is) as a wake up call.

Uncanny.

When you say "white pill that makes you get your period", do you mean the 4 to 7 (depending on the brand) pills that you take while you have your period? It that is the case, let me just correct you on that first. Those pills are inactive, as in they contain no hormones that will prevent ovulation. Actually, they just contain a little sugar (in most cases). They are in your package to make you take a pill every day just so you don't loose the habit and potentially forget once you get back on your active pills (which would be problematic). They don't "make" you get your period. You get a period because you are no longer ingesting hormones, hence your endometrial (the blood membrane in your uterus) is allowed to peel off (that is how you get your period, pill or no pill). So, if you forget to take an inactive pill, it really doesn't matter biologically speaking.

Now, you say that you are "still bleeding". Do you mean you skipped the inactive pills (the white pills) and got back on the active ones but are still having your period? If that is the case, it happens a lot. Some girls always finish their periods a couple of days after having resumed the hormone intake.

True that if you have your period, you are not pregnant. However, keep in mind that period-like bleeding is not necessarily a period. In which case you actually could be pregnant and be having what we call "spotting" (yes, spotting can sometimes be of heavy enough flow to be mistaken for period). The human body is a complicated thing and people react differently to certain situations. You should really just take a pregnancy test or two (false positives/negatives are common when you play with your hormones like taking the pill).

To others : Please don't treat this girl like she is a aberration or an ignorant child. People have different lifestyles and different values and trying to impose your own will 1) not work and 2)not be helpful, unless of course the question is about a moral dilemma or something similar (NOT the case here).

Best of luck sweetheart!

Nobody is treating her this way... but it is fairly clear that you haven't read her other post where she states that she IS pregnant from a 19 year old guy.

I don't see anyone treating her as either an aberration or ignorant. For someone with just 5 posts, you are assuming a great deal. If you feel a post violates our rules please feel free to use the Report Inappropriate Post link. Otherwise, please don't tell people how they should respond to posts.

Unless you checked the other thread, that was clearly referred to, you are missing a big part of the OP's story.
