Have recently moved. I use a Bt router. My laptop works fine but PC won't connect to internet. Tried Ipconfig but get message Media disconnected.
Any ideas what I should do to try to get it working again as it has not connected since I moved

Reconnect your Cable to the router or modem, unplug at both ends then reconnect push it in until it clicks if the latch is broke off get a new cable. If this dose not work try a new cable and then try a different computer to test the router - modem or what ever you are connected too.

Make sure cords are snug, also make sure your nic is seated properly in the motherboard. Go to device manager to confirm there is not a yellow exclamation point on the network adapter, and if there is, then the driver will need to be updated or reinstalled. If you do not see your network adapter listed, then it is not physically connected to the PC.
