How can I divorce my ex who I married 12 years ago but he was deported to mexico after being in prison. I have not seen him since. We do ahave one child and he said he is willing to sign the papers. He will not be returning to the country and just recently got out of prison for illegal entry. Can I file myself and what are the best most quick way to do this. Please respond

You can file in the area you are at. Since you know where he lives he can be served. He will sign the divorce paperwork, sign the child custody paper work. You file it and get divorced.

Yes, it is still worth having a paralegal do all the paper work and just let him sign, since if not, you do all of it, have a hearing to find out judge will not accept the paper work.
