The leak seems to be coming from water on its way to the faucet. I am experiencing a good amount of water escaping and I can't really tell where it is coming from. There did seem to be water escaping from under the base of the faucet (where it connects above the counter) if that helps. Any ideas on this?

Do you have stop valves, shut off valves under the sink on the supply lines?
