Today I was driving down a residential street less than a 1/2 mile away from home. There was a car in front of me that pulled to the far right, which I then assumed he was parking on the curb so I continued on. Apparently he was actually making a wide left turn into a driveway and hit me. He did not signal that he was turning and since he pulled himself so far to the right of the street I thought he was parking.
He got out of his car and started yelling at me and when I said I thought he was parking and that he should've signaled he said he did signal which is a complete lie.
I have no idea who is at fault here.

What did the police say? Without a police report it will be "he said, she said". If police not called you may go under no fault and fix your own.

I have moved this to the legal section, the auto section is about auto repair.

Issues as to how for over did he pull? Did he actually stop moving?
There could be a issue where both is at partial fault.

If he did not stop moving you may have been wrong in passing him. On the other hand he should have been aware of you and made sure he knew where you were. So it will probably be shared fault. Contact your insurer and let them handle it.
