I had a leak between the wall and the tub , we sealed the tub , but water had already collected under the tub , and we don't know how to get the water out that is under the tub,it just moves back and forth under it and has no where to drain it... so what do I do to get the water out?

First things first, Has the leak been located and repaired? What type of tub do you have? Some steel tubs have removable aprons. You may have to open a wall or if the tub's located on the second floor you could open a small hole in the ceiling. Let me know how you make out. Tom

HiKazjennie...

It sounds like your tub may have a tub LINER installed over an existing tub (see image). Here, if this is the case, you would need to loosen/remove the tub strainer assembly (using a tub drain removal tool... see image) and then push/squeeze the water out from between the liner and the existing tub into the drain pipe.

Once you are satisfied that the water is out wrap a little PLUMBER'S PUTTY around the underside of the lip of the strainer assembly and reinstall it tight using the tub drain removal tool (or two screwdrivers crisscrossed over each other).

Let us know if this makes sense,OK?
