Do you have good pressure in the cold water? What type of faucet do you have? Single handle or two knobs? What's the brand name? How old? Back to you, Tom

Hard to believe but your pressure is probably just fine, your volume is way low. Try to answer Tom's questions, you may just have a clogged hot mixing cartrdige

I have good pressure cold water. Is double knobs. Is about 6 years old. I don't see any brand anywhere.
Thanks for info..

Close off both supply lines or your main. Remove the handle and then the packing nut or collar. You should be able to then remove the stem, if washer, or the cartrdige. Posting a picture along the way would help

Sorry but I don't understand those plumber's jargon or parts. Can you explain to me simple terms? I don't know anything about anything.

OK! If the cold water pressure's good then you have a clog in the hot water supply or in the hot water side of the faucet. Close of the hot water angle stop and remove the handle and the nut on the stem. Back the stem out counterclockwise. Now place a pan over the open faucet and turn the hot water back on to flush out the supply and valve, You should hear a strong stream when doing this. If not let me know. Reassemble and test. Better now? Let me know how you made out. good luck, tom
