So the guy I dated for a year and 2 months went from being "the perfect guy" to being a total liar who used me.. I have some of his stuff, and I don't know if I want to give it back. He even had the nerve to ask for it back, including the bracelet that says "you will always be in my heart". His exact words were " Do you still have that bracelet I gave you? I'd like to give it to someone." I feel sorry for the new girlfriend... Who gives their new girlfriend their ex's stuff? So my real question is: should I give him his stuff back? I feel like if I give him his clothes and stuff back (that he GAVE me)he'd just think that I miss him, or he'd take that as a way of me "apologizing" (even though I wasn't the one who dumped him for no reason after spending everyday of 2 months together). Helpppp please

I've always thought that the things they buy YOU, they have no right to ask for back. But the things like that bracelet you should just give anyway. Make it clear you don't need it and are perfectly happy to give it back. Call him and compromise a time where he or a friend of his can pick up his things. Then you never have to deal with him again.

Two of my ex's just threw my stuff out straight away. One even drank my bottle of wine with his mates, it was the first bottle of red I'd ever got that I was planning on keeping. Grrr.

Don't give it back. This guy's a jerk and he doesn't deserve anything. By the way, can you answer my question please? Thank you!
