My HC35 runs extremely fast after I cleaned the carb. Is the carb. Adjustable or didn't I put it back together correctly.

Likely yes and yes. Carbs are adjustable but unless you changed some linkage it should be running at the same old speed. I would take a close look at the linkage to see if there are multiple holes for you to insert your wire connecting linkage. Especially where it connects to the governor.
