He usually eats all day long, but lately he hasn't been wanting to eat anything. I have tried everything, applesauce, peanut butter and jelly, jello, his favorite snacks. Nothing! He also has diarrhea. How can I get him to eat something?

Since he has diarrhea, best not to try and make him eat anything. Will he drink fluids for you? Small frequent amounts would be best.
How long has he had the diarrhea? Anything else going on along with it... fever for example?

No other symptoms just the diarrhea... he is drinking fine but that's it. I feel horrible when he doesn't eat.

I know, it can make you nervous, but the main concern with diarrhea is the potential for dehydration. Food may just aggravate the situation.
Once his tummy does settle a bit, start with bland foods, such as toast, dry cereal like cherrios, or crackers in small amounts. You might find leaving some food items out, such as a small dish of dry cherrios, will get him to pick up a few now and then.
If the diarrhea continues, it would be wise to contact his doctor.

He has had the diarrhea for about two days now... no fever, no throwing up, just the diarrhea and not eating

Since he has had it for two days, you should call his doctor.

Agree, don't force food for a couple days, but after this for a couple of days, he needs to be seen.
