Looking for a b/w movie that begins with a murder. The main character is fearful of being accused of the murder, panics, and while driving off, hits a man on a bicycle. The main character is arrested and charged with the murder anyway. In the courtroom the main character recognizes the man on the bicycle. If the man on the bicycle could identify the main character, he would be free. The twist comes as the camera zooms in on the man on the bicycle. He says that he's blind and therefore cannot see to vindicate the accused. The accused is then found guilty.
