How to connect one switch to another switch

With modern auto detect ports on switches this is simplicity itself.
All you need is an appropriate length of standard CAT5 cable, a couple of ends and then just plug it in.

If the switches are older, you MIGHT need a crossover cable. Or you might have to connect from the uplink port on one switch to a port on the other. All depends on the capability of the switches.
