Does anyone know if & when sp2 for win7 will be released? There's some features that worked in xp that don't in win7. Hope these issues are addressed in the next sp release. Thanks r.f.

What problems are you having in Win7 that worked fine in XP ?
Have you tried compatibility mode ?

Compatibility mode didn't help. The feature I miss most is the ability to send link by e mail from a web page. I downloaded an e mail program & made it the default but it still doesn't work. I've tried different things suggested in win7 forums but nothing seems to work. I get a window saying "there is no e-mail program assosiated to perform the requested action". I really miss this feature. Thanks r.f.

Mailto links can be used into your default mail program.
Sometimes you need to go into Control Panel\Programs\Default Programs\Set Default Programs and make sure it's fully set.

I do that with Thunderbird as my default.

I checked again & all the defaults are set for my e-mail program, but I still get the same "e-mail association" window. Thanks r.f.

May be a setting within your e-mail program that is causing the problem.
What are you running ?

I'm now using eM client, before that I had thunderbird with the same results. r.f.

I forgot to mention that I'm using ie8 as my browser, it's also set as default. The default utility in win7 is very confusing. Thanks r.f.

Well you need to upgrade to IE9 as it's the latest release.
While you're at it make sure your system is fully patched.
