I work in an office on switchboard and some nights have to work until 11pm and it is very boring but the internet keeps me occupied! Unfortinatley IT have blocked nearly everything on the internet and its so bad now I want to quit my job! lol!! Does anyone know how to un block certain things or web sites as IT management are unable to do it for me at the moment!!

Well as this is a business, we cannot help you with this issue.
Internet filtering is there for a reason.
If you want it changed you will have to talk to your IT department.

If you do try to get around the blocks that management has put in then you may find you won't have to quit, you'll be fired and for cause so you won't be able to collect unemployment.

The company has put in these controls for security reasons. To attempt to circumvent them would be a violation of their policy and could result in termination.

Well no luck!! I ask the IT managers evry chance I get an there like no no no!! O well guess ill have 2 start reading :(
I've applied for a new job, not because the nets blocked I need a change anyway
