Glad that the epidural made you feel better, but sadly it has just made things worse in the long run. It only gave you the illusion that you were better. With 3+ disc herniations/bulges in your back (low back I assume), it means that the vertebra are significantly restricted/subluxated, not allowing the discs to pump/move normally. The restriction in the vertebra will prevent the joints from moving properly, leading to more disc problems and ultimately fusion of the bones (Arthritis leading to degenerative joint/disc disease).

So, the drugs made you feel better temporarily (steroids reduce the inflammation and lessened the pressure on the nerves), but they did nothing to actually fix the problem. The good news is that this can be corrected, and ever better without the use of drugs or surgery.

You need to find a good Chiropractor, specifically one that works in Spinal Correction (who will take pre- and post- x-rays to determine specific curves and ultimately the correction as it takes place).

Fix the problem, don't just treat the symptoms. If you don't get to the root cause of the problem, then symptoms will always continue to come back. Sadly, that's the way most of our medical system works. Rarely does it focus on restoring normal function, but rather just treating the pain or other symptoms of the disease.

Good luck.
