It may have been a TV movie, but I can remember a commoner or girl from the outside world who looked exactly like the princess. The look-a-like has to pass tests to prove she is the princess... maybe because the real princess was captured? I THINK the tests included something like posture, maybe truth telling or some sort of knowledge test, and perhaps making it through a maze? The details are hazy, I admit. I believe she has friends helping her pass through the tests or maybe fight through the "maze" or world, but I can't remember if the friends are creatures or people. I know it's vague, but I've already found some old cartoons through the great teamwork of this site.
