Hello wingers:

One of the complaints about Obama was his lack of experience.. Do you REALLY want to put ANOTHER rookie in the White House?

Herman Cain has a lot more experience than Obama has... he has successfully turned around and ran a number of businesses.

He actually knows what it takes, Obam on the other hand has yet to run anything successfully.

Witness the current economy as an example of a dismal failure.

I'm more concerned with how he handled his recent crisis, and how that effects his ability to run the free world..

Instead of LEADING, he looked like a deer caught in the headlights. He KNEW the story was out there. Early on, HE could have released the information and put HIS spin on it... Why did he think it WOULDN'T come out? That too, causes me concern.. He's running for the leader of the free world. OF COURSE, it would come out. That he was surprised by the exposure, causes me even more concern.. He was informed 10 days before the article was published that it would be. He STILL didn't prepare. He stumbled, and stumbled, and stumbled.. Now, he thinks he can set the agenda with the press. That isn't realistic. That he THINKS he CAN, is more troublesome than ever.

I don't want him doing this with the Iranians or the Chinese, or frankly ANYBODY. You shouldn't either...

I think it's a witch hunt... and nothing more. Nobody had the courage to come forward... they violated the confidentiality agreement just by talking about it, did they think it only applied to one party?

Its certainly hasn't been handled any worse than it was under Clinton... where the women accussing him are rape were visciously attacked by the media... at least they had the courage to show their faces so everyone knew WHO was actually making the accusations...

I'm not sold on Cain. His experience is and was much more extensive than the President's .But,I have great concerns about his answers to foreign policy questions ;and the fact that he has not done the ground work necessary to prove himself a serious candidate.

I think with the coming IAEA report on Iran that foreign policy will take center stage real soon.

Obama made up for the lack of experience by somehow managing to get his organization in place in the key caucus states. Cain has done almost no organizing I'm aware of .

Hello again, tom:

I don't believe even HE thought he'd be where he is. He just wanted to sell books, or increase his speaking fees. Maybe he thought he had a shot as a FOX News guy or even, God forbid, the Vice Presidency.

You've got to be worried over there. Romney is GOING to be your candidate.. You can call him Bob Dole, or you can call him John McCain, but he's what you've got. IF you rally to his cause, he'll BEAT Obama... But, I don't think you will. Do you?

Yes he most likely will be the candidate ;and I will have no choice but to support him .

But make no mistake ; the best case the Republicans have are watered down with a Romney candidacy.

Romney in the end can only make the case that he'd be a better manager of the nanny state than the President .

His " Johnny come lately " positions on entitlements and tax reform don't fool me at all .

November 7, 2011 (MUNDELEIN, Ill. ) (WLS) -- Sharon Bialek, who lives in suburban Mundelein, said Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain reached under her skirt 14 years ago when she was asked him about a job.
In this Intelligence Report: Who is Sharon Bialek? The Chicago-area woman has an extensive corporate and personal history in the area going back to the early 1990s.
It was her hope for a new job that Bialek says brought her to Herman Cain that day in 1997. Bialek's resume and a trail of public records indicates that changing jobs has been a regular occurrence for the Chicagoan. She has worked for at least nine different employers over the past 17 years and appears to have struggled financially.
The public record on Bialek begins in 1991 when she filed personal bankruptcy for the first time while living in Des Plaines .
Between 1993 and 1996 Bialek worked for four different companies in promotion and marketing positions.
In 1996, and part of 1997, Bialek was at the National Restaurant Association. After being let go from that job in mid-1997, she says that she went to Washington , D.C. to meet with Cain, president of the association, because she needed a job.
In 1999, Bialek's son Nicholas was born and a paternity lawsuit was filed by the father, a media executive.
In 2001 came Bialek's second personal bankruptcy, filed after sizable legal bills. That year she was hired by WGN radio where she worked until 2004 when she took a marketing job and then a job at WCKG radio.
Along the way, according to her attorney, Bialek also held positions with Revlon and Easter Seals.
Bialek currently lives in Mundelein with fiancé Mark Harwood

Who is Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain accuser Sharon Bialek? Chicago area woman accuses Cain of reaching under her skirt | abc7chicago.com (http://abclocal.go.com/wls/story?section=news/iteam&id=8422203)

Imaging what James Carville would do with that narrative.

When similar revelations come out for the time he was CEO of Godfathers Pizza or in the Fed Reserve then I'll believe this is a pattern of behavior. I have yet to hear any of his peers at any of those organizations say this type of behavior was in character . Did he just decide to become a deviant predator when he went to NRA ? Not likely .

With Gloria Alred a law suit is right around the corner ;and I think that's the reason for this . She took out Meg Whitman last election cycle because her domestic help had a fake SS card .

The important thing is NOT whether he's guilty or not, or whether this is a hatchet job or not. The important thing is that the episode DESTROYED his candidacy.

I was listening on the radio this morning... this so-called victim has declaired bankruptcy, and has been through almost as many jobs since that so-called event as years that have passed.

Her claims are highly suspect and I bet the result of someone in the Democrat party greasing her palms to get her to make such a fool out of herself. She has a financial motive to make false claims.

Besides... if there was any truth to her claims... why did she never file a complaint much less a lawsuit?

I am now begging Cain to drop out. It has nothing to do with 9-9-9 or the bs sex scandal. He just doesn't have a clue about the issues related to foreign policy. His canned answer of "I'll rely on my experts " doesn't cut it. Almost certainly ,as President, he would have to make a call his experts don't agree with. He has to have the basic knowledge to make those calls . He doesn't have it and seems curiously uninterested in it.
He needs to step out of the way and let the legitimate candidates step up .

Do it without a Teleprompter and NO prewritten answers and questions that aren't leaked in advance, and its Obama that's going to gag on his own tongue.

Yet tom and I have both been refuting the birther crap for a long time, ever since it began with the anti-McCain birthers. Left-wingers believed Bush was installing a theocracy. A couple of prominent libs went public with a widely held belief that Bush was going to cancel the 2008 election. This summer the media played along with the ridiculous notion that certain Republicans were "Dominionists." So for every silly conspiracy you find on the right I'm sure I can find 3 on the left.

That's the problem with assigning one person's belief to a whole grouip - it makes your next argument less beliveable due to the broad generalization that you've already erroneously assigned. I did it as a parody, I don't really believe that's what all right-wingers think, just a few who have let the dogma take over their independent reasoning.

So which is it just so we can be clear, are you a RACIST, misinformed, or just plain... tired and mistyped.

he may not even know where Alaska is afterall he thinks it is part of Hawaii
Show me the facts to back up such an absurd statement, or is this an attempt at humor that I am taking out of CONTEXT.

but be assured of this he has now heard of the Asia/Pacific and will put all his efforts into conquering it for the american people
You meant conquering through economic means RIGHT??

That has to be better than Cain who seems to know his name and little else.
He knows PIZZA, and that's a point of respect in America, but I do agree, as far as a president goes... NO WAY!

It happened once. The rest of a fabrication in your mind.

So just because the DNC says that they expect everyone to believe it...

They also say a lot of things... like Pelosi never committed inside trading... Clinton never had sex with Monica Lewinsky... and a thousand other claims with zero basis in fact.

A true liberal believes them just because they say so...

The rest of us have seen the speeches... he was a media whore for years... on TV nearly every day. He put his foot in his mouth many times.

The ordinary meaning of the term native is a person born in a particular place, so all you have proved is that BO is a native american as perhaps are you. Who is being racist now. We make no distinction here when we describe people, an Australian is an Australian, and American is an American but an Englishman will always be a pommy

So which is it just so we can be clear, are you a RACIST, misinformed, or just plain... tired and mistyped.

Boy as in young, inexperienced, do I have to teach you the meaning of the english language? I live in a land where I can call a man a boy and it might be considered a compliment. We are not so thin skinned. As Don Lane said to Muhhamud Ali on national television "I like the boy". Just because you have corrupted the language over there does not mean that those of us who hold the language as a native tongue, there is that objectionable word again, have to fall in line with you.

Here is one place where his words indicating this or something similar, but demonstrating a lack of knowledge of US geography and political organisation are evident

No it is apparent that positioning forward bases demonstrates more than economic intent. This is why the Chinese are developing a blue wter fleet, to counter the US presence off their shores

Yes Tal it is clear from the size of your wastelines you respect pizza more than people. So how about climbing down off your high horse and taking that bugger out of your nose so we can have a sane conversation without the overtones?

In the U.S. a native American is an American Indian. A native-born American is someone born in this country.

Paraclete, you and tal are from two different countries. Even though English is a common tongue, the semantics and shades of meaning are a mile wide.

Calling a black man "boy" in this country is a racist insult.

I guess we all have made mistakes, misspoken, or misunderstood. It happens, but I doubt seriously if our President has a problem in geography, local or global. Nor is he naïve about the self interests of China, or any other country, and sorry if what we do makes your neighbors, and trading partners nervous.

And you can switch from English, to Chinese any time you want to and get the Chinese to protect you from us. That's up to you. I see us as a deterrent to both China, and IRAN and North Korea. As well as protecting our interests and partners in the region, of which Australia is but ONE!

But my personal apology for placing you with the conservative, elitist, snobs, who hide behind language to poke their fingers in eyes of those they feel superior to. Perhaps I was showing my disdain for those who are trying to be the most influential leader in the world, yet appear as babbling, bozos in a circus of stupidity.

And Herman Cain is starting to look like a ringmaster, not a leader.

Its ignorance to not know there aren't 57 states.....ask any third grader.

It's always better to claim you don't know something than to admit you don't know anything.

Which tree is that, Ex, the old Oak tree or the Cherry tree George Washington cut down? So Old Fog Horn Leghorn isn't popular in america any more, he certainly knew what boy meant, and I notice that Martin Luther King wasn't afraid to use the word negro, but you wouldn't use it today, too afraid of being racist. What a bunch of hypocrites.

Every time you describe someone you refer to that persons race and yet you say you are not racist, What a thin venier. When I refer to someone I don't refer to their race unless I am pointing out some unique characteristic

Kind of like calling him "the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy", or “light-skinned... with no Negro dialect (http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2010/01/the-juiciest-revelations-in-game-change/33226/), unless he wanted to have one." Or how about "A few years ago this guy would have been getting us coffee (http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0110/Teddys_anger.html)"?

Hello again, Steve:

Actually, the remarks are WAYYY different... Your side has difficulty with the MENTION of the words race, or black, or negro. You think if you don't mention them, that makes you free of racism. And, because the other side does mention them, because it realizes that racism is STILL with us, THEY'RE the racists for saying so...

What you NEED to do, is examine the two statements - calling a black man BOY, or complimenting him EVEN if done inarticulately, and see if they're the same... If you think they are, you're a good Republican.. If you don't, you're a good human.

Damned if do and damned if you don't. That's hardly fair don't you think?

Their racists get a pass so again we're damned if we do and damned if we don't.

Nah, I'll give Clete the benefit of the doubt for not being from around here, that makes me reasonable. Being human is to make mistakes.

I will be honest in that I wanted to know the truth, and not just assume or presume, what clete was conveying. I know sometimes our remarks are not taken in the spirit they are given, and while I can give the benefit of doubt, I don't have a problem with asking to make sure.

I'm human too.

I knew there was a score I was missing this morning. I didn't get to see the game last night and our paper must not have either. So the Iggles did beat the Gnats. Oh tom, that puts the Cowboys in first for now thanks to the division tiebreaker advantage.

Don't remind me...
I was upset enough watching the Skins outplay the Boys and the kicker blowing 2 fg. But at least at 4PM I was saying 'the Boys isn't that tough '.

Then the Gnats couldn't match the intensity of the Eagles playing like it was a must win game... even after they put Eli on his butt on an uncalled late hit ;and after DeSean Jackson tossed the ball at the Gnats Defensive coordinator and taunted the whole bench;and Cullen Jenkins knocked out DJ Ware with a helmet-to-helmet hit.

Frankly the Eagles slapped the Gnats on national TV and the gnats said 'thank you may I have another '. Jackson after his taunt only returned a punt into the red zone setting up a TD to ex Gnat Steve Smith.

Yeah the Gnats need to beat the Boys twice because of the division tie breakers... but not to worry . The Gnats won't survive the next 2 weeks... back to back Saints and Packers.

That's OK, this week I get my starting QB - Brees, my ace RB - Foster, my starting TE - Graham, and a starting WR - Mike Wallace back. I plan on taking my loss out on Spit this week.
