Ok so I/m back again still with what I think may still be the same problem in case if you aren't familiar with my story I had a period on the 24 on December then around the 18 or 19 of January I had brown spotting when I wiped for two days then I statred what I think was my period it was really light at first then got a little heaver it lasted the normal amount of time and went away so I assumed I wasent pregnant.
Before I got my period I took 4 home pregnancy test one came out positive and 3 came out ngative I also went to doctor for a blood test it to was negative this was around the time I started my light bleeding for my period I got the blood drown and they said it was negative I went on thinking that my body was just acting weird and blew off the possabliity of being pregnant.
So now I am having a few more probems my breast are getting really sore mainly around the nipple, also there are tiny milk bumps on them which express milk easly when I squeeze the bumps. I know that its time for me to ovulate so this could be from that or could I have been pregnant and it been to early to find out. Please help someone I don't know if this is just ovulation or should I take another PT. I just hate to go spend more money on some and they still come out negative those things aren't cheap.'

You could try to take another HPT, but be sure to use first morning urine.

If that is still negative it is time for not only another blood test, but a physical exam to find out why this is happening.

Last time you wrote, you mentioned that the string on your iud was getting longer. If you haven't seen your ob/gyn yet, you should definitely make the appointment to get an exam. If the string was getting longer, it means that the possitioning of the iud was changing. This should always be checked immediately by your ob/gyn. (esp if you think you might be preggy)also they can look for more definite signs of pregnancy while doing an exam, or look for what else might be wrong( and or run more tests).

I did make an appointment in fact its next Tuesday but they wouldn't check me when I had the blood drawn because it came out negative.

One more thing could an ectopic pregnancy be causing a negative result I've read that if you have an IUD in when you get pregnant you have a higher risk of having a tubal pregnancy?

Hello,

You should buy a First Response Pregancy test. It decects pregnancy 5 days earlier than most. It defintely works.
Good Luck.

I THINK if you had a tubal you would know by this point. They don't take long to make themselves known, as your tubes are so small, that when the fetus starts to grow, it stretches the tube and begins causing pain. Within a short amount of time if it isn't taken care of it could cause your tube to rupture.(which is a serious emergency) Usually pain is noticed between 6-7 weeks of conception, but can be noticed as early as 4. They don't always register on hpts however, and if you do get preggy while using an IUD you are more likely to have an ectopic pregnancy. So, it is a possibility you should discuss with your ob/gyn. This is some info I got from " www.babycenter.com", but I am sure talking to your doctor could give you more direct info on this.
"• Abdominal or pelvic pain or tenderness. It can be sudden, persistent, and severe but may also be mild and intermittent early on. You may feel it only on one side, but the pain can be anywhere in your abdomen or pelvis and is sometimes accompanied by nausea and vomiting.

• Vaginal spotting or bleeding. If you're not sure you're pregnant yet, you may think you're getting a light period at first. The blood may look red or brown like the color of dried blood, and may be continuous or intermittent, heavy or light.

• Pain that gets worse when you're active or while moving your bowels or coughing.

• Shoulder pain. Cramping and bleeding can mean many things, but pain in your shoulder, particularly when you lie down, is a red flag for a ruptured ectopic pregnancy and it's critical to get medical attention immediately. The cause of the pain is internal bleeding, which irritates nerves that go to your shoulder area.

• If a fallopian tube has ruptured, you may also have signs of shock, such as a weak, racing pulse; pale, clammy skin; and dizziness or fainting. In that case, call 911 without delay. "

I hope this helped. Please talk to your ob/gyn, to make sure you are okay. Keep us updated.

You could have had an etopic pregnancy, my best friend went through the same thing and that is what had happened. Make an Apt. with your doctor ASAP because it is very important you are checked for this.
