I have a goodman gas forced air furnace. It is only 3 years old. I turn it off in the summer to save a few bucks on my gas bill. It should be very simple, Turn on gas valve, switch on electric ignition switch, and it should start up. I did this last year without any problems. This year nothing happens. I have checked the breakers and have checked the ground fault reset button on the outlet. I even had a friend who is a plummer (not an expert on furnaces) look at it and he thought maybe there was air in the gas line and tried to bleed it. The gas company want to charge me $100 for someone to come turn it on for me... that's just crazy! Any advise?
