Grace is 9 year old greyhound rescue. Suddenly she stopped eating 4 days ago. Yesterday she couldn't get up and kept grunting. We took her to the emergency vet. Since we are on a limited budget, we could only do blood work and a lyme test. No lyme or heartworm. White blood cells indicate there could be an infection present. She did have a temp of 105.8 and they were able to get it down to 104.8 before we left. Currently she is drinking water, refusing to eat anything, she is able to pee and poop, but has just thrown up bile. Her current temp is 103.8.
Our bank account is frozen due to theft - so we have nothing to help her but home treatment.

I understand - and it appears that you tapped out your resources doing what you could do. One other suggestion I would have is to contact the Greyhound Rescue Group, explain the situation and ask if they can assist in some way. The GH Rescue Group in my area does offer assistance when people are tapped out.
Is she on antibiotics? I wouldn't force/persuade her to eat but I'd make sure she stays hydrated. I've had to sit on the floor and allow my dog to lick water off my fingers in order to get water into her.
Stories like this make my teeth clench. I understand the policies that Vets have. I truly do. I once literally cried and begged when I had no money and my GSD was very ill - the Vet agreed to allow me to make payments and I actually took a third (yes, a third) job at that point in order to pay his bills.
I understand that medical bills are part of the cost of owning a dog... but sometimes it's just impossible to feed yourself, let alone find a Vet for the dog.
I'd try the Greyhound people first. And please come back and let me know how things are going.
