A month ago, I decided I wanted to get drunk for the first time. My boyfriend of three years and I went to his best friends house (whom I also know from high school) and sat around drinking and talking-and playing video games-for hours. I ended up throwing up (in the bathroom thank gosh) and then passing out the guest bed (a mattress on the floor next to his best friends bed).

When I woke, I was in my boyfriends arms being hugged, as usual. But their was another pair of hands. His best friend kept trying to feel me up, and when he was sure my boyfriend wouldn't wake even moved his arms away from me to get a better shot at me. I could hardly move, just kept saying my boyfriends name-I wasn't even thinking he would wake up, but that hearing his best friends name would make the guy come to his senses. It didn't.

He rolled me over and tried to put his **** in my mouth, and that was when I spat at him. I think he realized I was awake and left me alone.

In the morning, I pretended I couldn't remember anything and just got my boyfriend and I out of that house as quick as possible. Its been a month now and while my boyfriends been back to visit his friend since, I never will. I haven't told my boyfriend what happened because this is his only close friend-and was the only person he had to turn to this year when his parents divorced, and he was really upset. I wouldn't know how to tell him.

But still things aren't normal. I don't like him to hug me anymore, and won't let him hold me while we sleep. And I just.. I feel like he didn't protect me. I still love him though. We've known each other since we were 12, and we have always planned to live out our lives together. But where do I go from here?

Just keep your head straight.

In everything you do. Stuff happens.

Don't trip on it. If you & your boyfriend are good, then that's all you need to be concerned with.

"he didn't protect me"
C'mon. Do you need protecting?

You make your own decisions. Right?

Don't play the innocent.

Tell your boyfriend as I am sure that falls under a part of rape and he would be aware of what his friend had done

Not his fault he couldn't protect you. He was out/sleep/drunk, but you made no effort to wake him. Still haven't told him so he is clueless. He needs to know about his so called friend, so he can protect you, and HIMSELF. So stop blaming him.

Plus that's part of the dangers of drinking, anything can happen. Next time, instead of playing sleep, let them know you are not, and nip it in the bud, before it has a chance to go further. Better yet, take some responsibility for protecting yourself.
