In the middle of September I started my period it only lasted four days then I immediately started spotting brown and pink. I started feeling tired all the time, my boobs were sore and sensitive, and I felt sick all day. I took an hpt it was a very faint postitive, oct. 20 I started a period again that lasted a week it was kind of heavy and I had a few small clots. Now I'm spotting brown and pink again. What could be the cause of this? I haven't been hurting or cramping, and I haven't taken another hpt.

Did you read the results of the first test in the time frame stated on that test? Did you happen to read it awhile later?

It could be you are pregnant, and it would be best to try another test, making sure you follow the directions carefully. It could be you were pregnant but had an early loss... which happens more often than most people realize, or it may have been a misreading on the test.
