A car is travelling at 50km/h on a flat highway. a)If the coefficient of friction between the road and tires on a rainy day is o.100, what is the minimum distancein which the car will stop? b) What is the stopping dstance when the surface is dry and the coefficient of friction is 0.600?

a) Find the maximum acceleration that you can get, in terms of the mass of the car.

Then, use v^2 = u^2 + 2as using v = 0, u = 50, and a as the acceleration you got above to get s.

b) Do the same, but with the coefficient as 0.6.

Can you do that? :)
