Ohkay so I've known him for over a year and a half and well we talk about almost eveything. I've helped him with his problems and he's helped me, when I needed it. I flirt with him and he flirts back. I'm the only girl who he hugs and I get him to smile all the time. We talked from sunrise till dark and one of us gets tired and we say goodnight. I met him in my freshman english class and at the time I like someone else and I went to him to get help about it, and the next thing I know he's my best friend, I've never been closure to anyone but him. I think about him day and night. It hurt to see him but I can't stay away. Over the summer we got in a fight and I didn't talk to him for a week and all I could think about was him. Finally he texts me and says he "can't stand NOT talking to me." It was the same for me. My friend says were in love. But are we in love. She says the way we look at each other is love. I know that he cares about me but does he love me? The only guy who knows everything about me, and I know more about him than his best friend that he's been best friends with since kindergarten, and he came to me for help and for comfort. Could this be love?

It sure sounds like he likes you! And if you guys have known each other for over a year and a half and you were friends before dating (if that's what you plan) then that is rational and not just infatuation! I'd hope! Not sure about being in love but pretty sure there's a mutual attraction there!
