I'm looking for a movie from the 90's I guess (I saw it on VHS). The protagonist was a black man, who were arrested at the metro station because he was screaming he is Jesus Christ. He was taken to a psychiatric clinic and the doctors were surprised because he knew all the Holly Bible, every little peace of word.
I remember that the doctors started to question themselves about the possibility of a real Prophet at the clinic.
However, the doctor found out that, when he was a child his Father made him read the bible every day and record the phrases. And he became "crazy", saying he was Jesus when he accidentally killed his baby son. He was building (I guess) his home and the child was hidden in a place, and he died.
Actually the scene is strong and dramatic, when he realized that he has hammered his son's head.
So, that's it. This movie has a psychological content and I want my students to see.
