Hello,

I am trying to install a carrier 33cs051-fs thermostat. It is replacing a york 2th11702224a (actually a honeywell). It is a heatpump. Below are images of the original wiring and my options for the carrier. As it sits now, when I flip the breaker back on, the carrer thermostat comes alive for about a second and then turns off. Flipping the breaker off and then on again a few seconds later results in the same thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The one assumption I made was that x on the Honeywell was C on the carrier...

Upload a picture going back to the terminals to your unit please. Heat Pumps are an entirely different breed, not as simple as a furnace and a/c. Thank you.
