My neighbor has admittedly filmed us in our yard-and on our deck. My son was a minor for some of the filming, He and his friends were on the deck playing, yelling, getting the dogs to "TALK" to them- He poisons our hedges and cuts 4 feet into our yard and when I discovered it I screamed and yelled at them that I'm sick of them poisoning our plants and cutting our tree.. I also yelled to their tenant that "These are the kind of people you're renting from -- they say they're christians and johovah Wtinesses but look at them." Not sure what else they've filmed.

As long as everyone was outside and not in their home, it is perfectly legal to video tape them. If you are outside in your own yard and the other neighbor can easily film you either from inside their home or from their yard, then you are legally fair game for them. Keep in mind the fact you are outside in public when you are being filmed even though it is on your own property.
